Robert is honored to be one of the speakers at the 9th Annual EOH Technical Symposium “Energy Alternatives for California’s Future: Environmental Health Aspects.” March 5, 2014 California State University, Northridge. 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., USU Northridge Center
A description of the conference is below and an agenda can be found at: http://www.csun.edu/~hfcat002/2014_Tech_Symposium.pdf
Rising energy costs and increased awareness among the public are finally starting to force global leaders to research alternatives, and provide funding, to develop renewable energy production. Issues like global warming are becoming mainstream reality and causing world-wide concerns about pollution and consumption. In this symposium, we will consider not only the need for change, but also the environmental and occupational health challenges that will accompany large-scale changes to various forms of renewable energy production.
In addition to learning about these challenges from nationally recognized speakers, our program offers 8 hours of Continuing Education Credits for CIH, CSP, REHS, and other organizations.
