The ThermalCORE™ Panel with Phase Change Material (PCM) is the first domestically produced wall panel that incorporates Micronal® PCM from BASF Corporation. The PCM changes phase from solid to liquid when it reaches 73 degrees Fahrenheit. It absorbs thermal energy to moderate a room’s temperature, similar to how an ice cube melts and absorbs heat to cool a drink. This technology brings the thermal mass properties achieved with thick stone walls to lightweight construction.
